At Duxedraft Studios, I started a new initiative dubbed “The Creative Collective” where I reach out to people that have particular skillsets and partner up with them on a project. I see Duxedraft’s CC as a guild; an aggregated collaboration between artisans, designers, innovators, researchers and subject-matter experts from different industries.

Two main pillars that define Duxedraft’s Creative Collective are apprenticeship and collaboration. In apprenticeships, new creators learn from mentors (mentorship), then launch solo careers (freelancing) or become mentors themselves. Collaboration with other agencies on short or long-term projects will provide exposure to new audiences and sparks creative innovation.

I want to connect with experts in the field and have them join this initiative as mentors. They will take on new creatives as their apprentices for a set period of time and offer them guidance and advice.

After completing their mentorship, an apprentice will be introduced to freelancing. They are then provided with resources to facilitate their journey as independent freelancers.
