Echoes of Lengai is a concept game set in ancient Africa, following its protagonist Monandria, a nomadic warrior from the Lengai lands. The game takes Monandria on an epic yet devastating journey like no other, exploring various African lands and mysteries in search of answers to saving his people from an unknown enemy.

In the Maasai culture men who wanted to become Maasai Moran, the guardian warriors of the Maasai and their lands had to go through a series of challenges where they journey through the wilderness towards a mountain named the Ol Doinyo Lengai. Monandria, a boy who was not of pure Maasai blood strived to become one of the Maasai Moran despite being discriminated against due to him being “a half-born”.
